Boo Hanks: Pickin' Low Cotton $12.00

"He's one of only two musicians I've met over the years who can trace his musical roots back to Blind Boy Fuller, the most famous exponent of Piedmont Blues." -Tim Duffy, MMRF Founder

Boo, a descendant of Abraham Lincoln on his mother's side, is the greatest Piedmont Blues rediscovery in many years. He sings and plays guitar very much in the manner of the legendary Blind Boy Fuller.

Boo has just begun to pursue a career with his music, which, up until now, he has performed only for his family and friends. At the age of 79, this is Boo's first recording.
